RNID Wins for Public Accountability

RNID won in the ‘National organisations with an annual turnover of less than £50m' category.

An independent panel of judges from the communications, marketing and journalism sectors chose the winners of the CIPFA/PricewaterhouseCoopers Public Reporting and Accountability Awards 2006. The Awards recognise and promote good practice in public reporting and seek to encourage strong, effective accountability by public service organisations.

RNID's Director of Communications, Brian Lamb said: "Through our annual Impact Report, RNID is continuing to engage with the public and our stakeholders to show how we are changing the world for the UK's nine million deaf and hard of hearing people.

RNID is delighted to have won in this category and they intend to build on their success and keep raising the benchmark in voluntary sector accountability.
