Well that dream could soon become a reality if you (or your partner) log onto RNID's celebrity signed Valentine's card auction, Fame for a Flame, which is currently running on eBay.co.
The auction of celebrity-signed Valentine's cards, which began on 12 January 2004, is already attracting lots of bidders desperate to get their hands on cards signed by, and in some cases lipstick kissed by, their favourite personalities.
Over the next five weeks cards signed by Ant & Dec, Bill Bryson, Charlie Dimmock, Cliff Richard, Lorraine Kelly, Dale Winton, Dermot O'Leary, Dom Joly, Eamonn Holmes, Fiona Phillips, Fearne Cotton, Barbara Windsor, George Alagiah, Sophie Raworth, Graham Norton, Jade Goody, Jo Guest, Natalie Imbruglia, Liza Tarbuck, Phil Collins, Lemar, Carol Smilie, Jodie Marsh, Victoria Wood, Beverley Knight, and Tess Daly, amongst many more, will be added to the online charity auction.
Many of the cards have been personalised with doodles and / or pictures of the celebrities themselves, making them truly unique and highly collectable. If you make a successful bid you will have your chosen cards sent out by first class post, direct to whoever you want to send it to – even yourself!
Profits from the online auction will go to RNID – the largest charity representing the nine million deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK.
So if you want to ensure that your heart isn't broken this Valentine's Day, log onto the Fame for a Flame charity auction on eBay.co.uk. The auction will run until 21 February 2004.
