Take the suitcase and get started - for people with a handicap that often is just not possible. There exists a lack of suitable offers which at the same time fulfill different tastes. But something slowly gets into motion - on the way to a barrier free tourism market.


A volontary target agreement was signed on March 12th in Berlin. Gastronomic associations and societies for the handicapped in Germany agreed on standards how to register, evaluate and present barrier free touristic offers

Just imagine to slip into a turtle's carapace, to direct a small crane in order to build a house or to drive with a wheel chair over obstacles - there would not be many children not having fun with that. These activities and others take place for three to 15 year olds at a science and technology centre in Strasbourg - handicapped accessible.
