REHACARE.de talked to the popular German balladeer Rolf Zuckowski about happiness, his desires and precious drawings.
REHACARE.de: What makes you get up in the morning?
Rolf Zuckowski: Every new “small day“, that deserves its chance.
REHACARE.de: What is your favorite place and why?
Rolf Zuckowski: Where I can gaze long and quietly into the far distance, it doesn’t matter whether that means over the mountains or over the ocean. There is no “why“ in the air, it just always feels good.
REHACARE.de: Who or what impresses you?
Rolf Zuckowski: All people, who despite earning way too little wages for doing this, lovingly take care of others.
REHACARE.de: What is your most valuable possession?
Rolf Zuckowski: The trust and love of my family.
REHACARE.de: What are you fed up with?
Rolf Zuckowski: With television entertainment that toys with human dignity.
REHACARE.de: What makes you relax the most?
Rolf Zuckowski: See my answer to question 2.
REHACARE.de: What makes you happy?
Rolf Zuckowski: If I only knew – definitely the need to continually want to experience something new.
REHACARE.de: Is there something you should throw away, but won’t?
Rolf Zuckowski: Can I give you an example? I cannot throw away pictures, that children painted for me. Since I cannot keep all of them forever either, I have some brave assistants.
REHACARE.de: Name three things that make for a fulfilled life!
Rolf Zuckowski: 1, 2, 3 – this is something everybody should please answer for themselves, since everybody rolls differently. What else would be the point of this truly successful questionnaire?

REHACARE.de: When was the last time you felt blown away by something?
Rolf Zuckowski: The first time I heard PINK sing her song “I Don’t Believe You“.
REHACARE.de: What questions would you like to know the answer to?
Rolf Zuckowski: Did we humans invent God? Did He want that?
REHACARE.de: When was the last time you felt like hiding from something?
Rolf Zuckowski: Fortunately, I haven’t been in such danger or torment in a long time.
REHACARE.de: What makes a person rich?
Rolf Zuckowski: A little piece of heaven on Earth.
REHACARE.de: What is your philosophy of life?
Rolf Zuckowski: Who knows what it is good for? (A gift from my mother-in-law)
REHACARE.de: Who else should we be asking these questions of?
Rolf Zuckowski: A child in elementary school. Afterward, please also send those answers to me.
