REHACARE.de: What makes you get up in the morning?
Ute Kaiser: My son, to study, my students, for psychology, philosophy, theology, my hair dresser appointment, my therapist, my best girlfriend, my imaginary Mr. Right.

REHACARE.de: What is your favorite place and why?
Ute Kaiser: Seville, die Canary Islands, because I like the heat, the food and the mentality of the people there. Also the Netherlands and Vancouver, because I like the opinionated individuality of the people, and the fact that they accept another person just as they are and let them be without constantly feeling the need to impose their help.

REHACARE.de: Who or what impresses you?
Ute Kaiser: Many and always different people, at the moment the most: My therapist Kruse and my favorite psychology college professor Spörrle as human beings and teachers; my theology systematics professor Wenz as a teacher, person and father of the church; our school psychologist Geist, my son Nikolaj Elias, my best girlfriend Heike, the artist Patricia Karg, Pat Metheny, Martin Schuth, Johnny Depp.

REHACARE.de: What is your most valuable possession?
Ute Kaiser: We don’t own anything anyway, which is why I can say: My son.

REHACARE.de: What are you fed up with?
Ute Kaiser: With men who look for a mother instead of a woman.

REHACARE.de: What makes you relax the most?
Ute Kaiser: Sex, painting, music, talking, learning, lying in the sun, eating well, drinking wine and gossiping.

REHACARE.de: What makes you happy?
Ute Kaiser: Everything that is alive.

REHACARE.de: Is there something you should throw away, but won’t?
Ute Kaiser: Oh yes, my too tight but beautiful clothes.

REHACARE.de: When was the last time you felt blown away by something?
Ute Kaiser: Yesterday.

REHACARE.de: What questions would you like to know the answer to?
Ute Kaiser: Is there a man for me? Why does anyone love pop songs?

REHACARE.de: When was the last time you felt like hiding from something?
Ute Kaiser: This is something I experience often, because I like to put my foot in my mouth and ask questions that are too personal and which people don’t always like to answer. In other words, this is a daily occurrence.

REHACARE.de: What makes a person rich?
Ute Kaiser: To be able to love their life.

REHACARE.de: What is your philosophy of life?
Ute Kaiser: Love everything you do and are.

REHACARE.de: Who else should we be asking these questions of?
Ute Kaiser: Of course all those people who impress me.
