The trend is a good one: more self-determination. That becomes true a little more as well for care. New models are being tested in Germany in order to turn theory into practice - as demanded by societies for the handicapped.

The goal: More self-determination for people with a handicap by providing more saying from whom the disabled get help and care. The method: Personal Budgets. A variety of projects test the implememtation of this new model all over Germany.
