Multifit Hospital Supplies Ltd is a New Zealand based company specialising in design and development of therapeutic appliances for the elderly and disabled.

This year at REHACARE 2009, Multifit announces the release of the Multifit LegLifter Mk3, an innovative, electronically motivated device designed to lift a person's legs safely from a bedside sitting position into a comfortable prone position, ready for rest or sleep.

Since launching the LegLifter Mk2 at REHACARE in 2008, company principal and designer Wayne Manson has further developed his successful design to cater for a wider range of user needs for both patient and caregiver . The most noticeafeature is the option of a wider leg-rest to assist patients with swollen legs from conditions such as oedema.

The Multifit LegLifter is distributed in the UK and Eire by Theraposture under the “TheraCare” brand. Multifit also welcomes Wheels of Fitness as its Canadian distributor.

Multifit is now seeking distributors in the European Continent and other parts of the world. Enquiries are invited from established organisations who have complementary mobility solutions and are keen to market this innovative and helpful appliance.
